Our blogroll is basically the list of blogs that are in my Bloglines account. So only blogs whose RSS feeds I’m subscribed to in Bloglines will show up in our blogroll.

Link Exchanges

We don’t do link exchanges, though - apart obviously from the referer list that appears on each page.

If I get a request for a link exchange I might well have a look at your blog and if I like it I might subscribe to it in Bloglines and it will then appear on our blogroll. But I don’t expect a link back necessarily and I certainly don’t want to feel beholden to subscribe to your blog just because you have a link to us. So offers of link exchanges are usually politely declined. Having said that, you will automatically show up in our referer’s list if you link to us, so you can always get a link back that way.

We link to plenty of sites on our blogroll that don’t have a link back to us.
Such is life in the blogosphere.
